Zusammenfassung:Neonatal cervical osteomyelitis is extremely rare, with only a few reported cases. In most instances, Staphylococcus aureus is the infecting organism. The authors report a case of group B streptococcal osteomyelitis affecting the cervical spine. This case highlights the diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties that these cases present, and emphasises the role of a multidisciplinary team approach to management.
