Zusammenfassung:With the advances achieved in decoding of the genetic structures of species and the novel possibilities of simultaneous measurements of the regulation of all genes of a given tissue, the last 10 years have seen a massive increase of our knowledge about genetic regulation of diseases. Additionally, the possibilities to control transcriptional processes within the cells will speed up the process of disentangling the various pathways leading to disease.
