Zusammenfassung:	This case report describes a patient with solitary bone plasmacytoma who had a gastric relapse of his tumor. Skeletal surveys, magnetic resonance imaging of the spine, and bone marrow examination done at the time of relapse failed to show any other site of disease. Positron emission tomography finally clarified the true extent of the tumor.
