Zusammenfassung: | The whole is greater than the sum of its parts: Linking the porous tetrahedra of IRMOP‐51 (brown) by connecting their iron‐trimer vertices (red) with bipyridine linkers leads to the new metal–organic framework MOF‐500, which contains additional smaller (blue) and larger (green and yellow spheres) tetrahedral pores. The sorption capacity of MOF‐500 is four times greater than that of the molecular compound IRMOP‐51. |
