Zusammenfassung:Computed tomography (CT) is often the first modality ordered in patients with suspected bowel obstruction. Three-dimensional (3D) CT imaging is now seen as a valuable tool for illustrating pathologic findings to clinicians and surgeons. Three cases are reported in which 3D CT volume rendering was used to demonstrate transition points in proximal small bowel obstructions in patients who had received oral contrast.
