Cancer Stem Cells: A New Theory Regarding a Timeless Disease

The role of cancer stem cells (CSCs) in the development and metastasis of tumors is discussed. The hypothesis that CSCs are the only cells capable of spreading to other organs to spawn new tumors seems to be borne out by the latest research.
