Zusammenfassung:	Spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas are a rare cause of myelopathy. Nonspecific symptoms may delay the diagnosis. Magnetic resonance imaging and spinal angiography are routinely used to establish the diagnosis. In our case abnormalities on magnetic resonance imaging only suggested spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas. Multidetector row computed tomography (MRCT) led to the diagnosis which was confirmed by angiography.
