Zusammenfassung:	Summary There seems to be little relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and atherosclerotic disease for quite a long time. But current evidence from epidemiological, pathological, and clinical studies indicate an association of them both. We speculate that Alzheimer’s disease and atherosclerosis are brothers but not passers-by, in molecule, especially in the light of interaction between reticulon 3(RTN3) and reticulon 4(RTN4B).
