Zusammenfassung:	Furthermore, although cases with HER2 gene amplification were characteristically high-grade tumors associated with estrogen receptor negativity and reduced disease-free survival, cases with polysomy 17 alone did not show significant association with adverse clinicopathologic parameters. In non-small cell lung carcinoma, high copy numbers of the HER2 gene has been demonstrated to be of significance in predicting therapeutic response to EGFR-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors, such as gefitinib [5].
