Advances in Solution- and Solid-Phase Synthesis toward the Generation of Natural Product-like Libraries

Recent research in the synthesis of products similar to naturally occurring bioactive compounds is discussed. Many of these compounds are found in plants, and a comparison between the natural and synthetic analogs is presented.
