Zusammenfassung:We present a patient with a false aneurysm of the left gastric artery, associated with anomalous hepatic artery anatomy, following suspected non-accidental blunt abdominal trauma. We postulate that the anomalous anatomy contributed to the pathogenesis of the lesion by restricting the mobility of the left gastric artery during upward movement of the liver. Trans-catheter embolization of the offending vessel was successful.
