Zusammenfassung: | Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor, but only 5% of lesions occur in the jaws. The incidence of synchronous osteosarcomas (1% to 3%) is even less. A combination of synchronous osteosarcoma, with one of the lesions occurring in the jaws, is a very rare combination. A case of synchronous osteosarcoma with involvement of the mandible in a 16-year-old girl is reported. In addition to the mandible, lesions were identified in the left femur, sixth thoracic vertebra, and possibly in the lungs. Imaging and histopathological features are described. |
