Azido Sialic Acids Can Modulate Cell-Surface Interactions
Delivery of unnatural sialic acids to cell‐surface glycans can alter cellular recognition by sialic acid‐binding proteins. The approach can be used to probe structure–activity relationships in the physiologically relevant context of the cell surface.
