Zusammenfassung: | Herman and Siegel present a case study of a 3-year-old boy who was referred to the neurology department for tremor and ataxia. Based on the patient's CT scan, he was diagnosed with paraneoplastic ataxia without opsoclonus syndrome caused by abdominal neuroblastoma. The child begun on carboplatin, etoposide to treat the neuroblastoma and intravenous dexamethosone and immune globulin to treat the paraneoplastic ataxia, which is believed to be immune mediated. |
