Synthesis and Urease Enzyme Inhibitory Effects of Some Dicoumarols

Dicoumarols 1-10 with substituted phenyl residues at C-11 were synthesized and screened for their urease inhibition effects. All synthesized compounds showed varying degree of urease inhibitory activity ranging from IC50 = 74.30-91.35 μM.
