Zusammenfassung:The Management in Food and Nutrition Systems Dietetic Practice Group (MFNS DPG) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), under the guidance of the ADA Quality Management Committee, has developed Standards of Professional Performance (SOPP) for registered dieticians (RDs) who practice in the field of management. These standards are built on the core SOPP for RDs found in the ADA Scope of Dietetics Practice Framework. They are reflective of new insights about the main purpose for SOPP: To serve as a guide for RDs to evaluate and improve practice and demonstrate competence in management of food and nutrition systems. Here, Puckett et al present the 2008 ADA SOPP for RDs in Management of Food and Nutrition Systems.
