The following recommendations provide guidance to medical practitioners in the appropriate use of estrogen and progestogen therapy in peri- and postmenopausal women. They are derived from a meeting in Feb 2004 of internationally recognized experts who reviewed results of the recent clinical trials, the conclusions of which led to much confusion who alarm among women and their doctors.
