Zusammenfassung:	We report the case of a 32-year-old woman who was diagnosed as having small cell variant type anaplastic large cell lymphoma with peripheral involvement. A cytogenetic study showed a complex translocation, t(2;5;13)(p23;q35;q14). Fluorescence in situ hybridization with ALK break-apart probes confirmed that the three-break rearrangement involves the ALK gene.
