Local bicuculline disinhibition does not disrupt acquired coordination between the tactile input and the motor output in the motor cortex of the cat
These results provide evidence supporting the view that stimulus-selective changes in the magnitudes of motor cortex neuron responses during different types of motor learning occur essentially because of changes in the efficiency of excitatory rather than inhibitory connections.
