Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of this study was to assess the role of the addition of coronal reformatted images to MDCT in the evaluation of suspected acute appendicitis in pediatric patients. In pediatric patients with suspected appendicitis, the addition of coronal reformatted scans to axial images in MDCT increases confidence in the diagnosis or exclusion of acute appendicitis.
