Chairside modification of a surgical obturator: A clinical report

Functional rehabilitation of maxillectomy patients is important in reestablishing the patients' quality of life. This article describes a prosthodontic technique that allows for modification of a surgical obturator clinically, allowing rapid restoration of speech and deglutition.
