Zusammenfassung:With the publication of Apuntes para una biblioteca de escritoras espanolas desde el ano 1401 al 1833, which was impressed in 1898 & 1903, the historian & scholar Manuel Serrano y Sanz contributed to the knowledge of the Spanish feminine writers, extending or modifying the existent bibliography until the date of its publication. The aim of this article is to use this anthology-inventory of women writers to establish on the one hand the typology of these writers & on the other the evolution of genre & topics that appear in their works, that is to say, how women saw culture in the different centuries that we focus on. This could contribute to contextualize the historical age in which the works of these feminine authors were produced, & help to develop a correct analysis of these direct sources of knowledge of the feminine thought.
