Reflections on the Contributions of ESCC to the Academic Community of San Luis Potosi

Four members of the Research Team of the Communication Science School of Mexico's Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, having been familiar with ESCC for a number of years now, offer an analytical account of the journal's contributions to the academic community in that city. The four perspectives offered here all agree that personal academic work can never be isolated from the work of the academic community, & that the journal's work can be seen as a constant reminder that personal pathways often converge to form a collective trajectory. This is the case even though San Luis Potosi is located a great distance from ESCC's home at the University of Colima. Indeed, without the presence of the journal in San Luis Potosi, the related academic environment in that city would be far the poorer. References. R. Young
