Summoned memories. The Contest of testimonies as Sources of Contemporary Oral History

The use of personal documents in social sciences & in history in particular is a means for the research concerned with knowing the social subjects' point of view. The search for these sources is not always easy; therefore, this paper intends to reconsider a procedure for the production of testimonial sources by announcing testimony contests. The proposed method is based on the experience & approach of oral history, both in Mexico as well as in other places.
