Political Alternation and Changes in the Local Political Scene: The Case of Cuquio

This text aims at showing the consequences at, local level, of political changes occurring in the last fifteen years as a result of the political opening in Mexico. The political transition not only opens a democratizing way in the country, but also, it is accompanied by a decentralization process that transfers important budgets to municipalities; it totally changes the way of making policies in the most local level.
