Zusammenfassung:A quasi-experimental research design is used to explore whether the efficacy & efficiency of an employee assistance program (EAP) treatment network might be improved by matching patients with particular substance abuse problems to programs with strengths in those areas. Several unanticipated problems were encountered during implementation of the research design; attempts to overcome them, while not always successful, yielded equally unanticipated benefits. 1 Figure, 7 References.
