Zusammenfassung: | This article describes a group-counseling intervention that was used among homeless youngsters and their mothers. The intervention was specifically designed to reduce familial conflicts by enhancing the participants' interpersonal problem-solving skills. In designing this group intervention, the authors considered the ways in which numerous factors (e.g., school, family, and residential factors) affected the participants' overall psychological health and sense of personal well-being. Evaluative comments that were generated by the group participants are also reported in this article. This data confirmed the effectiveness of the intervention. |
