Zusammenfassung: | Interest is intense in disseminating mathematics and science materials developed by the Department of Education as well as other agencies. Two approaches are discussed for identifying, evaluating, and disseminating materials. One is the National Diffusion Network and its Program Effectiveness Panel, a dissemination system with 20 years of history but with a screening process in need of revisions if NDN is to meet its potential in mathematics and science. The other is the Committee on Education and Human Resources, a new interagency effort that has potential to identify, evaluate, and disseminate a large body of existing but largely underutilized mathematics and science materials. |
