Zusammenfassung: | Mail questionnaires were used to explore the knowledge level of 5 health professions (dentists, nurses, activity directors, dental hygienists, & social workers, total N = 194) toward older individuals, analyzing the data with chi square to determine if a relationship existed between demographic variables & respondent age bias. Results indicated that all 5 professional groups demonstrated age biases to some extent. Implications for those working with the elderly are drawn, & suggestions offered for further research. 4 Tables, 7 References. Modified AA |
