Zusammenfassung: | There is increasing need for social service agencies & organizations to allocate resources & to plan based on objective needs assessment. This requires greater access & use of data sources. The increased need for data used by social welfare agencies is described & analyzed, & the findings of a needs assessment study of such organizations in Fort Worth, Tex, are presented. Data are from survey questionnaires completed by 48 Fort Worth service agencies & community organizations. The results were used in planning & developing a series of free data use & application workshops for social service agency representatives & in writing a detailed Resource Manual for agency data users. 6 Tables, 8 References.
