Structural effects of EC RT & D programmes

European Community (EC) research technology & development programs are dedicated to collaborations between heterogeneous actors & the building of technoeconomic networks. An analysis of the impact of the second framework program in France reveals that most large heterogeneous transborder networks are stabilized, but still learning about collaborative research practices. Most networks fall under six major collaborative patterns that focus on different outcomes & have different structural effects.
