Zusammenfassung: | Surveys 71 young people, ages 5+, living in a residential unit or with a foster parent in London, England, to evaluate the local authority's efforts toward meeting the requirements & standards of the Children Act 1989. A high level of satisfaction was reported by respondents; however, results reveal that young people do not fully understand their care plan & are not involved in the decision-making & planning processes. Issues of education & placement stability are also addressed. 4 References. Adapted from the source document. |
