Zusammenfassung: | Book reviews (N = 169) published in Social Work Journal, Social Work in Education, & School Social Work Quarterly between 1976 & 1987 were examined, & profiles of book review authors developed. Telephone interviews were also conducted with current reviewers (N not provided). Authors' characteristics were relatively homogeneous within each journal, but varied among journals.
