Zusammenfassung:In a response to Gregory A. Peterson, I. Delores Drone, & Mark R. Munetz's article about case management modalities (1997 [see abstract 97W27859]), it is argued that case management strategies must be thoroughly tested for both usefulness & financial sustainability before they can be recommended to the public sector. While caring for the mental health of patients by means of tailored management may appear to be an effective method for treating individuals in different stages of illness & rehabilitation, it is contended that careful outcome research will be required to avoid misdirected use of precious public resources. 9 References.
