Zusammenfassung:Explored relationships among personality, substance use, & academic achievement in 161 undergraduates, ages 18-46, drawing on questionnaire data. Significant positive relationships were obtained between grade point average representing academic achievement & personality factors of neuroticism, conscientiousness, agreeableness, & openness. Significant negative correlations were found between grade point average & the use of alcohol & nicotine. Conscientiousness, neuroticism, openness, & lack of nicotine use best predicted grade point average. 3 Tables, 14 References. Adapted from the source document.
