Behavior problems in sexually abused children of depressed versus nondepressed mothers
Kelly et al examine whether maternal depression would impact a child's adjustment after sexual abuse. Results of their study revealed that depressed mothers reported more conduct problems, inattention/immaturity, and psychotic behavior than nondepressed mothers.
