Zusammenfassung:This article examines the problems western German feminists have encountered in their attempts to work with other activist women's groups in Germany. The article places the postunification intra-German difficulties in the context of the history and political philosophy of second-wave German feminism and compares these recent developments with problems previously evident in coping with class, ethnic, and racial heterogeneity.
