Zusammenfassung: | This study uses a phenomenological approach to investigate the nature of outcomes of a parent education program. Eight female program participants were interviewed using questions designed to elicit stories about the nature of the parent education experience. The data were coded thematically to determine program outcomes as experienced by the participants. Seven categories of outcomes emerged from the data. Transformative learning, as an overriding explanatory theme, encompassed the more specific categories of parent education outcomes. |
