Zusammenfassung: | Describes Project SafeCare, an ecobehavioral research & treatment project with families (primarily Latin American or immigrant) reported or at risk for child abuse or neglect. Preliminary demographic data obtained during interviews with 116 participating families in Los Angeles, CA, are reviewed, along with indirect assessment data. Four case studies exemplify the effects of training provided to families, who generally have low levels of education.
