Zusammenfassung:Discusses the use of an interdisciplinary approach to coordinating a community response to domestic violence in the Boston area. The establishment of the Boston Medical Center Domestic Violence project is discussed by V. Pualani Enos, explaining the involvement of graduate students studying law, medicine, psychiatry, & social work in the program. Eli H. Newberger recounts his experience with cases of child sexual abuse while working at Children's Hospital & local attempts to found interdisciplinary programs that addressed child abuse in pediatric hospitals. After considering the respective roles that communities & cultural values play in teaching children violence, Howard R. Spivak reviews the effectiveness of Boston's communitywide response to adolescent violence. The capacity of the Child Witness to Violence Project to provide clinical & legal assistance to children who have witnessed domestic violence is then covered by Betsy McAlister Groves. J. W. Parker
