Zusammenfassung:Discusses the alternative meanings of global apartheid as empirical, normative, & existential concepts. It is suggested that the close relation of global apartheid to economic, salary, technological, & gendered global apartheid attests to the racial dimension of world stratification. As a normative concept, global apartheid incriminates the accused (the world order, the North, or a policy) as exhibiting extreme inequality, domination, violence, exploitation, & structural racism against the oppressed. As an existentialist concept, it is argued that the West must recognize the hypocrisy of proclaiming democratic & humanitarian ideals while engaging in brutal & discriminatory practices toward the multiracial majority of the world.
