Competency and Learning Strategies: Think about the Process of Change in the EEES

This paper aims at shedding some light on new challenges faced by Universities nowadays. We try to clarify a complex topic in itself: the place of learning strategies in relation to competency model proposed by the European Higher Education reform. Similarly, we assess the impact, consequences & educational implications that, for obvious reasons, a teaching system based on competence is expected to have on newer teaching methods.
