Zusammenfassung: | Constructs used to compare competitiveness in Mexican-Americans and AngloAmericans have employed a unidimensional and possibly biased definition of competitiveness. In this study, 55 Mexican-Americans at three levels of schooling were surveyed to examine competition by a more comprehensive standard including the relationship between acculturation and competitiveness. Previous findings depicting MexicanAmericans as noncompetitive when compared to Anglo-Americans were not supported. |
