Zusammenfassung:Both capitalist & socialist regimes are increasingly becoming absorbed with problems of environmental protection, as shown by the list of ecological concerns discussed at summit meetings. Individual effort alone is insufficient to reverse the current of ecological destruction; rather, organizational efforts are needed from the local to the global level. Current, third-generation strategies seek to combine planning & protection in a holistic framework. Contemporary efforts in Yugoslavia are discussed in light of an expected closer relationship with the European Community in the near future. Adapted from the source document.
