Zusammenfassung: | Short-term groups have proved to be viable as a treatment intervention in the divorce adjustment process, as evidenced by the 15-year success of the Divorce Adjustment Group program in Nashville, TN. A literature review of 16 other group programs contrasts group type, program structure, leadership criteria, composition, & session length & frequency. There is disagreement on the optimal leadership style, degree of structuring, & on ways to encourage minority participation. Guidelines for design of short-term services are suggested. 1 Table, 52 References. Adapted from the source document. |
