Zusammenfassung: | Inadequate food production as well as inadequate income among farmers were the problems faced by Sudan's agricultural sector during the 1980s. Previous studies on these problems concluded that they were the result of uneven agricultural development in the country and the Sudanese farmers' refusal to implement the government's agricultural policies. However, evidence shows that the failure of the agricultural sector to resolve their problems was a result of Sudan's inadequate agricultural institutions. |
