Zusammenfassung: | A comparison of how 38 counseling students in Taiwan & 35 in the US conceptualize the self, utilizing a semantic differential technique. Findings reveal that the US students rated the evaluative & potency scales of the "My Real Self" construct higher than the students from Taiwan. However, ratings of the concept of "love" predicted how Taiwanese students rated all of the self scales used, which was not the case for the Americans. 2 Tables, 32 References.
