Zusammenfassung: | This study explored the differences in divorce adjustment of women divorced from homosexual men compared to women divorced from heterosexual men. Quantitative aspects of the study included one measure of psychological symptoms and one measure of divorce adjustment. These were augmented by a qualitative semistructured interview. Results indicated that women divorced from homosexual men do not differ significantly from women divorced from heterosexual men in psychological symptoms or in overall divorce adjustment. Women divorced from homosexual men appear to have more anger on divorce adjustment. The interview data were analyzed for possible explanations of these results. |
