Zusammenfassung:This manuscript reports findings from a recently conducted survey on information technology use and management by public managers in Arizona state- and local-government agencies. Based on these findings, we argue that public administration programs are facing new challenges in their efforts to provide training in information technology use and management. Public management specific computer labs may be necessary for public administration training to be responsive to students' needs and to keep pace with rapid changes in information technologies.
