Zusammenfassung:The activities of the Indian Sociological Society from Jan 1979 to Oct 1980 are reviewed. The Society experienced some difficulties in operation during this period, as a result both of appointing a Treasurer & moving its main office to Poona. More substantive problems have also occurred in recruitment of members, finances, & publication of the Sociological Bulletin, the Society's official journal. An increased membership is particularly needed if future accomplishments are to increase. W. H. Stoddard.
